Portland General Electric (POR) Tops Q3 EPS by 10c; Affirms FY18 EPS Outlook

Portland General Electric (NYSE: POR) reported Q3 EPS of $0.59, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of $0.49. Revenue for the quarter came in at $525 million versus the consensus estimate of $525.97 million.
“With the Carty settlement behind us, we can now focus our full attention on the future,” said Maria Pope, PGE president and CEO. “In addition to achieving solid operational and financial results this quarter, we have made progress toward adding new renewables and advancing several smart grid projects.”
GUIDANCE:
Portland General Electric sees FY2018 EPS of $2.25-$2.40, versus the consensus of $2.33.
