Briggs & Stratton (BGG) Misses Q1 EPS by 4c, Bumps Outlook

Briggs & Stratton (NYSE: BGG) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.51), $0.04 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.47). Revenue for the quarter came in at $279 million versus the consensus estimate of $296.44 million.

GUIDANCE:

Briggs & Stratton sees FY2019 EPS of $1.40-$1.60, versus prior of $1.35-$1.55 and the consensus of $1.44. Briggs & Stratton sees FY2019 revenue of $1.95-2.01 million, versus prior of $1.93-$1.99 billion and the consensus of $1.94 million.
