Global Payments Inc. (NYSE: GPN) 7.5% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.44 (ex-items), in-line with estimates. Revenues were $260.7 million vs. $260.25 million consensus. Chairman, President and CEO, Paul R. Garcia, stated, "Based on our first half results and our second half expectations, we are reaffirming the low end of our annual fiscal 2007 revenue guidance of $1,057 million, and reducing the high end of this guidance to $1,069 million." The Company anticipates net income of $2.20 to $2.22 per diluted share. This compares to the Company's previous full year expectations for sales of between $2,370 and $2,390 million and earnings per diluted share in the range of $2.29 to $2.30. The consensus is $2.38 billion and $2.27, respectively
