Red Hat (RHT) Tops Q2 EPS by 3c, Q3 Guidance Misses Views

Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) reported Q2 EPS of $0.85, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.82. Revenue for the quarter came in at $823 million versus the consensus estimate of $829.49 million.

GUIDANCE:

Red Hat sees Q3 2019 EPS of $0.87, versus the consensus of $0.92. Red Hat sees Q3 2019 revenue of $848-856 million, versus the consensus of $862.72 million.

Red Hat sees FY2019 EPS of $3.45-$3.49, versus the consensus of $3.47. Red Hat sees FY2019 revenue of $3.36-3.395 billion, versus the consensus of $3.4 billion.
