Goldman Sachs analyst David Tamberrino reinstates coverage on Tesla Motors (NASDAQ: TSLA) with a Sell rating and a price target of $210.00.
After dropping coverage to advise Tesla on a previous "go-private" deal that wound up falling apart, the analyst returns to the name with the same negative view. Tamberrino has concerns regarding competition which is on the horizon as product launch cadence takes a pause.
The analyst believes intensifying industry dynamics coupled with a phase out of the US Federal EV Tax Credit for TSLA customers could weigh on GMs and profitability.
