J.C. Penney (JCP) Misses Q2 EPS by 32c, Guides FY EPS Below Views

J.C. Penney (NYSE: JCP) reported Q2 EPS of ($0.38), $0.32 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.06). Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.83 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.86 billion.

Comparable sales increased 0.3 % for the second quarter.

GUIDANCE:

J.C. Penney sees FY2018 EPS of ($1.00)-($0.80), versus the consensus of $0.04.
