Abiomed (ABMD) Tops Q1 Views; Raises Outlook

Abiomed (NASDAQ: ABMD) reported Q1 GAAP EPS of $1.95, which may not compare to the analyst estimate of $0.82. Revenue for the quarter came in at $180 million versus the consensus estimate of $173.27 million.

GUIDANCE:

Abiomed sees FY2019 revenue of $775-790 million, up %15 million versus prior view and the consensus of $768.1 million.
