Raytheon (RTN) Tops Q2 EPS by 43c, Beats on Revenues; Boosts FY18 EPS/Revenue Outlook

Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) reported Q2 EPS of $2.78, $0.43 better than the analyst estimate of $2.35. Revenue for the quarter came in at $6.6 billion versus the consensus estimate of $6.52 billion.

"Raytheon delivered strong bookings, sales growth, EPS and cash generation in the second quarter," said Thomas A. Kennedy, Raytheon Chairman and CEO. "The strength of our bookings and record backlog demonstrate the company is well positioned for future growth."

GUIDANCE:

Raytheon sees FY2018 EPS of $9.77-$9.97, versus the consensus of $9.91. Raytheon sees FY2018 revenue of $26.7-27.2 billion, versus the consensus of $26.75 billion.
