Washington Federal (WAFD) Raises Quarterly Dividend 5.9% to $0.18; 2.1% Yield

Washington Federal (NASDAQ: WAFD) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.18 per share, or $0.72 annualized. This is a 5.9% increase from the prior dividend of $0.17.
The dividend will be payable on August 24, 2018, to stockholders of record on August 10, 2018, with an ex-dividend date of August 9, 2018.
The annual yield on the dividend is 2.1 percent.
President and Chief Executive Officer, Brent J. Beardall commented, “The Board’s actions today reflect Washington Federal’s continuing strong earnings and our confidence in Washington Federal’s future.”
