Packaging Corp. (PKG) Raises Dividend 25.4% to $0.79; 0.7% Yield

Packaging Corp. (NYSE: PKG) declared a special dividend of $0.79 per share. This is a 25.4% increase from the prior dividend of $0.63.

The dividend will be payable on July 13, 2018, to stockholders of record on June 15, 2018, with an ex-dividend date of July 16, 2018.

The annual yield on the dividend is 0.7 percent.

Commenting on today’s announcement, Mark W. Kowlzan, Chairman & CEO of PCA, said, “Consistent with our balanced and disciplined capital allocation strategy, PCA is increasing its dividend for the seventh time in eight years. This reflects our on-going commitment to generating value and returning cash to shareholders.”
