Domtar (UFS) Tops Q1 EPS by 12c, Beats on Revenues

Domtar (NYSE: UFS) reported Q1 EPS of $0.87, $0.12 better than the analyst estimate of $0.75. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.35 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.33 billion.

• First quarter 2018 net earnings of $0.86 per share; earnings before items1 of $0.87 per share
• Announced a $50 per ton price increase on the majority of communication grades to be implemented in May 2018
• $90 million of cash flow from operating activities
