Timken (TKR) Tops Q1 EPS by 17c, FY EPS Guidance Tops Views

Timken (NYSE: TKR) reported Q1 EPS of $1.01, $0.17 better than the analyst estimate of $0.84. Revenue for the quarter came in at $883.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $836.56 million.

GUIDANCE:

Timken sees FY2018 EPS of $3.90-$4.00, versus the consensus of $3.59.

• The company now expects 2018 revenue to be up approximately 17 percent in total versus 2017
