Merck (MRK) Tops Q1 EPS by 5c, Updates FY Guidance

Merck (NYSE: MRK) reported Q1 EPS of $1.05, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $1.00. Revenue for the quarter came in at $10 billion versus the consensus estimate of $10.1 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Merck sees FY2018 EPS of $4.16-$4.28, versus the consensus of $4.19. Merck sees FY2018 revenue of $41.8-43 billion, versus the consensus of $41.91 billion.
