J&J Snack Foods (JJSF) Misses Q2 EPS by 5c, Beats on Revenues

J&J Snack Foods (NASDAQ: JJSF) reported Q2 EPS of $0.95, $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.00. Revenue for the quarter came in at $266.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $263.89 million.

Gerald B. Shreiber, J & J’s President and Chief Executive Officer, commented, “While we are pleased with our overall sales increase, we remain focused on improving our margins, particularly in our food service business.”
