McDonald's (MCD) Tops Q1 EPS by 12c, U.S. Comps Increase 2.9%

McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) reported Q1 EPS of $1.79, $0.12 better than the analyst estimate of $1.67. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.14 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.97 billion.

• Global comparable sales increased 5.5% and global comparable guest counts increased 0.8%
