ON Semiconductor (ON) Tops Q1 EPS by 1c, Beats on Revenues; Offers 2Q Revenue Guidance

ON Semiconductor (NASDAQ: ON) reported Q1 EPS of $0.40, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.39. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.38 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.36 billion.

"We delivered strong revenue and margin performance in the first quarter. We are seeing an upwards inflection in long-term demand for our products, driven by strengthening engagement with our customers on their long-term strategic projects and broad-based acceptance of our products for automotive and industrial markets," said Keith Jackson, president and CEO of ON Semiconductor. "Along with robust revenue performance, we continue to deliver impressive margin performance driven by solid execution, improving mix, and operating leverage. We continue to make strong progress towards our target financial model."

GUIDANCE:

ON Semiconductor sees Q2 2018 revenue of $1.405-1.455 billion, versus the consensus of $1.42 billion.
