SkyWest (SKYW) Tops Q1 EPS by 17c, Beats on Revenues

SkyWest (NASDAQ: SKYW) reported Q1 EPS of $1.03, $0.17 better than the analyst estimate of $0.86. Revenue for the quarter came in at $783.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $770.6 million.

First Quarter Highlights:

• Net income of $54 million, or $1.03 per diluted share, up 56% from $35 million or $0.65 per diluted share in Q1 2017
• Pre-tax income of $67 million, up 28% from $52 million in Q1 2017
• Revenue of $783 million, up 5% from $747 million in Q1 2017 on improving fleet mix
