Xcel Energy (XEL) Tops Q1 EPS by 6c, Slight Miss on Revenues; Affirms FY18 Guidance

Xcel Energy (NASDAQ: XEL) reported Q1 EPS of $0.57, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.51. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.95 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.96 billion.

• GAAP and ongoing 2018 first quarter earnings per share were $0.57 compared with $0.47 per share in 2017.
• Xcel Energy reaffirms 2018 GAAP and ongoing earnings guidance of $2.37 to $2.47 per share.
