ARMOUR Residential REIT (NYSE: ARR) reported Q1 EPS of $0.66, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.64.

• $44.7 million ($0.96 per Common share) net income under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“GAAP”) based on 42,330,652 weighted average diluted Common shares outstanding
• $32.0 million ($0.66 per Common share) Core Income including “Drop Income” (as defined below), which represents an annualized return of 9.7% based on stockholders’ equity at the beginning of the quarter
• $0.57 per share Common dividends for Q1 at the rate of $0.19 per month
• 3.1% average yield on assets and 1.5% average net interest margin
• 6.3% annualized average principal repayment rate (“CPR”)
