Southern Co. (SO) Raises Quarterly Dividend 3.4% to $0.60; 5.3% Yield

Southern Co. (NYSE: SO) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.60 per share, or $2.4 annualized. This is a 3.4% increase from the prior dividend of $0.58.
The dividend will be payable on June 6, 2018, to stockholders of record on May 21, 2018, with an ex-dividend date of May 18, 2018.
The annual yield on the dividend is 5.3 percent.
