DURECT Corporation (Nasdaq: DRRX) 39% HIGHER; Announced a $202M collaboration agreement with Nycomed, a privately held European pharmaceutical company headquartered in Denmark, whereby the companies will jointly develop DURECT's POSIDUR post-operative pain relief depot. Nycomed will have exclusive commercialization rights in Europe and other select countries, and DURECT will retain full ownership of POSIDUR in the U.S., Canada, Asia and other countries.

Synopsys Inc. (Nasdaq: SNPS) 11.3% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.21, ex-items, 2 cents better than estimates. Revenues came in at $283.4 million versus the consensus of $279.8 million. Sees Q1 revenue of $292-$300 million versus the consensus of $278.7 million. Sees Q1 EPS of $0.26-$0.28 versus the consensus of $0.21. Sees FY revenues of $1.18-$1.21 billion versus the consensus of $1.19 billion. Sees FY EPS of $1.20-$1.28 versus the consensus of $1.08.

DSW Inc. (NYSE: DSW) 11% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.36, versus the consensus of $0.27. Revenues came in at $332.2 million versus the consensus of $333.14 million. Sees FY EPS of $1.35-$1.38 versus prior view of $1.24-$1.27 and the consensus of $1.27.

Hot Topic, Inc. (NASDAQ: HOTT) 11% HIGHER; November Comp Store Sales Down 4.3%. The company also announced that given November sales trends, it is revising its guidance for fourth quarter (ending February 3, 2007) earnings to be in the range of $0.33 to $0.38 per diluted share. The consensus is $0.33.

Conolog Corp. (NASDAQ: CNLG) 5% LOWER; gives back some of today's 19% gains. The stock is up from a Friday close of $1.31. Closed today at $3.88.

TiVo Inc. (Nasdaq: TIVO) 4.6% LOWER; reports Q3 loss of $0.12, 2 cents better than estimates. Service and technology revenues for the quarter increased 22% to $52.6 million versus the consensus of $55.6 million. For the fourth quarter of fiscal 2007, TiVo anticipates service and technology revenues in the range of $54 million to $55 million (consensus of $61.24 million), an Adjusted EBITDA loss of $28 to $33 million and a net loss of $33 million to $38 million.

Wireless Ronin Tech (NASDAQ: RNIN) 4% LOWER; gives back some of today's 57% gains on its second day of trading after selling 4.5M shares at $4 per share.

Zumiez, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZUMZ) 4% HIGHER; November comparable store sales increased 12.1%

New York Times Co. (NYSE: NYT) 3.8% LOWER; Hank Greenberg's spokesman said Mr. Greenberg has less than 100,00 shares of New York Times Co. (NYSE: NYT) stock and has no present intention of increasing his stake. The stock was up 7.5% today on reports from the New York Post, Greenberg was buying loads of NYT stock in an effort to break the Sulzberger family's control of the company.
