Chubb Corp. (CB) Declares $0.71 Annual Dividend; Seeks to Raise Dividend to $0.73

Chubb Corp. (NYSE: CB) declared an annual dividend of $0.71 per share, or $0.71 annualized. The dividend will be payable on April 20, 2018, to stockholders of record on March 29, 2018, with an ex-dividend date of March 28, 2018. The annual yield on the dividend is 0.5 percent.

The Board also announced today that it will recommend to shareholders at the company's 2018 Annual General Meeting an increase in its quarterly dividend for the twenty-fifth consecutive year. The proposal calls for a $2.92 annual per share dividend, payable in four quarterly installments of $0.73 per share, compared to the current quarterly dividend amount of $0.71 per share.
