Proofpoint (PFPT) Tops Q4 EPS by 9c, Guidance Falls Short

Proofpoint (NASDAQ: PFPT) reported Q4 EPS of $0.29, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $0.20. Revenue for the quarter came in at $145.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $139.49 million.

GUIDANCE:

Proofpoint sees Q1 2018 EPS of $0.15-$0.17, versus the consensus of $0.19. Proofpoint sees Q1 2018 revenue of $149-151 million, versus the consensus of $149.5 million.

Proofpoint sees FY2018 EPS of $0.95-$1.02, versus the consensus of $1.03. Proofpoint sees FY2018 revenue of $660-665 million, versus the consensus of $669.4 million.
