Ultimate Software Group (ULTI) Tops Q3 EPS by 17c, Offers Guidance

Ultimate Software Group (NASDAQ: ULTI) reported Q3 EPS of $1.05, $0.17 better than the analyst estimate of $0.88. Revenue for the quarter came in at $236.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $232.89 million.

GUIDANCE:

Ultimate Software Group sees Q4 2017 revenue of $210-212 million, versus the consensus of $250 million.

For the fourth quarter of 2017:

Recurring revenues of approximately $210 to $212 million,
Total revenues of approximately $242 to $246 million, and
Operating margin, on a non-GAAP basis (discussed below), of approximately 18%.

For the year 2018, preliminary:

Recurring revenues to increase in excess of 20% over 2017,
Total revenues to increase approximately 19% over 2017, and
Operating margin, on a non-GAAP basis (discussed below), of approximately 21%.
