BlackBerry (BBRY) Tops Q2 EPS by 3c

BlackBerry (NASDAQ: BBRY) reported Q2 EPS of $0.05, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.02. Revenue for the quarter came in at $249 million versus the consensus estimate of $221.18 million.

GUIDANCE:

BlackBerry sees FY2018 revenue of $920-950 million.

(Street sees FY revenue of $919.53 milion)

--  Total non-GAAP revenue in the range of $920 million to $950 million

--  Total non-GAAP software and services revenue growth in the range of 10

    percent to 15 percent

--  Positive non-GAAP EPS for the full year

--  Positive free cash flow for the full year, before taking into account

    the net impact of the benefit of the Qualcomm arbitration award and

    costs related to restructuring and transition from the hardware

    business.
