Layne Christensen (NASDAQ: LAYN) reported Q2 EPS of ($0.11), $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.14). Revenue for the quarter came in at $126.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $122.99 million.

Total backlog was $182.8 million at July 31, 2017 compared to $172.2 million at April 30, 2017 and $194.1 million at July 31, 2016.
