Barnes & Noble (BKS) Misses Q1 EPS by 3c, Miss on Revenues

Barnes & Noble (NYSE: BKS) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.15), $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.12). Revenue for the quarter came in at $853 million versus the consensus estimate of $871.75 million.

Outlook

For fiscal year 2018, the Company continues to expect comparable bookstore sales to decline in the low single digits and full year consolidated EBITDA to be approximately $180 million.
