Stanley Black & Decker (SWK) Raises Quarterly Dividend 6.9% to $0.62; 1.7% Yield

Stanley Black & Decker (NYSE: SWK) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.62 per share, or $2.48 annualized. This is a 6.9% increase from the prior dividend of $0.58.
The dividend will be payable on September 19, 2017, to stockholders of record on September 1, 2017, with an ex-dividend date of August 30, 2017.
The annual yield on the dividend is 1.7 percent.
Stanley Black & Decker's President and CEO, James M. Loree, commented, "A strong and growing dividend continues to be a critical component of our shareholder value proposition. I am pleased to continue the trend of consecutive increases, which has now spanned five decades."
