Northern Trust (NASDAQ: NTRS) reported Q2 adj. EPS of $1.18, $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.23.
Net income was $267.9 million, compared to $263.0 million in the prior-year quarter and $276.1 million in the prior quarter. Return on average common equity was 11.6%.
