L-3 Communications (LLL) Tops Q1 EPS by 26c, Beats on Revenue; Raises FY Guidance

L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) reported Q1 EPS of $2.07, $0.26 better than the analyst estimate of $1.81. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.67 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.44 billion.

• Net cash from operating activities from continuing operations of $85 million
• Book-to-bill ratio of 0.98x on funded orders of $2.6 billion
• Increased 2017 financial guidance

GUIDANCE:

L-3 Communications sees FY2017 EPS of $8.50-$8.70, versus the consensus of $8.60. L-3 Communications sees FY2017 revenue of $10.75-10.95 billion, versus the consensus of $10.76 billion.
