Baxter (BAX) Tops Q1 EPS by 6c, Increases FY Forecasts, Sales Growth

Baxter (NYSE: BAX) reported Q1 EPS of $0.58, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.52. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.48 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.43 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Baxter sees FY2017 EPS of $2.20-$2.28, versus the consensus of $2.17.
