Preferred Apartment Communities (NYSE: APTS) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.235 per share, or $0.94 annualized. This is a 6.8% increase from the prior dividend of $0.22.

The dividend will be payable on July 14, 2017, to stockholders of record on June 15, 2017, with an ex-dividend date of June 13, 2017.

The annual yield on the dividend is 6.9 percent.
