Caterpillar (CAT) Declares $0.77 Quarterly Dividend; 3.2% Yield

Caterpillar (NYSE: CAT) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.77 per share, or $3.08 annualized.
The dividend will be payable on May 20, 2017, to stockholders of record on April 24, 2017, with an ex-dividend date of April 20, 2017.
The annual yield on the dividend is 3.2 percent.
"We believe maintaining our dividend reflects our confidence that we are well-positioned for the future," said Caterpillar CEO Jim Umpleby. "Our diligent operational focus on reducing our cost structure, generating solid cash flow, and maintaining a strong balance sheet, allows us to continue rewarding our shareholders."
