Party City (NYSE: PRTY) reported Q4 EPS of $0.76, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.74. Revenue for the quarter came in at $749 million versus the consensus estimate of $760.52 million.
GUIDANCE:
Party City sees FY2017 EPS of $1.23-$1.30, versus the consensus of $1.29. Party City sees FY2017 revenue of $2.35-2.45 billion, versus the consensus of $2.41 billion.

Harrison, Chief Executive Officer, stated: “Our performance in 2016 demonstrates the resiliency of our business, the repeat purchase nature of our Everyday product categories, and the strength of our unique vertical model. Despite an unfavorable calendar shift affecting Halloween, our most important holiday, we were able to deliver our 7th straight year of record revenues in constant currency as a result of our diversified revenue model that reaches across multiple channels. We are pleased that 2016 was also our 16th consecutive year of record EBITDA, which has been driven by consistently growing our share of shelf1 and continually increasing our operational efficiencies.”
