Jefferies analyst, Jonathan Petersen, reiterated his Hold rating on shares of DuPont Fabros Technology (NYSE: DFT) but raised his price target to $54 after the company still had a
record year on the back of a strong first half even though leasing the past two quarters has been light.
DFT will have more capacity to lease in the coming quarters, and the development pipeline is more staggered. Success continues to be tied to demand from a few tenants, which justifies a discount multiple.
Despite all of these positives, the analyst did not raise his rating since the stock trades at 16.5x '17 AFFO, which is 25% above its 5-year average. The new PT of $54 however is up from $47.
