Compass Minerals (CMP) Raises Quarterly Dividend 3.6% to $0.72; 3.5% Yield

Compass Minerals (NYSE: CMP) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.72 per share, or $2.88 annualized. This is a 3.6% increase from the prior dividend of $0.695.

The dividend will be payable on March 15, 2017, to stockholders of record on March 1, 2017, with an ex-dividend date of February 27, 2017.

The annual yield on the dividend is 3.5 percent.

“I am pleased that, once again, Compass Minerals can return value directly to shareholders,” said Fran Malecha, president and CEO of Compass Minerals. “This is a continued demonstration of confidence that our company is based on strong fundamentals and has the strategy in place to drive future growth.”
