Johnson Controls (JCI) Tops Q1 EPS by 1c, Reaffirms FY Guidance

Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI) reported Q1 EPS of $0.53, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.52. Revenue for the quarter came in at $7.09 billion versus the consensus estimate of $7.15 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Johnson Controls sees Q2 2017 EPS of $0.48-$0.50, versus the consensus of $0.53.

• Reaffirming 2017 adjusted EPS from continuing operations guidance of $2.60 to $2.75, a 13 percent to 19 percent increase year-over-year
