Praxair (PX) Raises Quarterly Dividend 5% to $0.7875; 2.6% Yield

Praxair (NYSE: PX) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.7875 per share, or $3.15 annualized. This is a 5% increase from the prior dividend of $0.75.

The dividend will be payable on March 15, 2017, to stockholders of record on March 7, 2017, with an ex-dividend date of March 3, 2017.

The annual yield on the dividend is 2.6 percent.

"Our employees continued to execute on our core business strategy in 2016, driving free cash flow to a record level," said Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Steve Angel. "As a result, we are proud to announce a five percent increase in our dividend, making this our 24th consecutive annual increase."
