Nu Skin Enterprises (NUS) Reports In-Line Q2 EPS; Raises Outlook

Nu Skin Enterprises (NYSE: NUS) reported Q2 EPS of $0.79, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.79. Revenue for the quarter came in at $600.05 million versus the consensus estimate of $581.62 million.

GUIDANCE:

Nu Skin Enterprises sees Q3 2016 EPS of $0.80-$0.84, versus the consensus of $0.77. Nu Skin Enterprises sees Q3 2016 revenue of $560-580 million, versus the consensus of $559.9 million.

Nu Skin Enterprises raises FY2016 EPS to $2.80-$2.90, versus the consensus of $2.79.

"We are pleased with our second-quarter results and remain optimistic about the future as we continue to introduce our latest ageLOC products," said Truman Hunt, president and chief executive officer. "During the quarter, we held significant product introduction events in South Asia/Pacific and Greater China, generating revenue growth of 36 and 18 percent, respectively. We are also encouraged with the increase in sales leaders during the quarter, a reflection of the strength of our product launches."
