Mallinckrodt (MNK) Tops Q3 EPS by 20c

Mallinckrodt (NYSE: MNK) reported Q3 EPS of $2.20, $0.20 better than the analyst estimate of $2.00. Revenue for the quarter came in at $970.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $920.35 million.

GUIDANCE:

Mallinckrodt sees FY2016 EPS above $8.15-$8.50, versus the consensus of $8.28. Management provided an adjusted diluted earnings guidance range for calendar year 2016 (the 53-week period ending December 30, 2016) of $8.50 to $8.80 per share.
