HealthSouth (HLS) Tops Q2 EPS by 9c, Lifts FY Guidance

HealthSouth (NYSE: HLS) reported Q2 EPS of $0.69, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $0.60. Revenue for the quarter came in at $920.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $906.67 million.

GUIDANCE:

HealthSouth sees FY2016 EPS of $2.44-$2.56, versus prior guidance of $2.37-$2.56 and the consensus of $2.46. HealthSouth sees FY2016 revenue of $3.6-3.7 billion, versus prior guidance of $3.58-3.68 billion and the consensus of $3.63 billion.
