Spectranetics (SPNC) Misses Q2 EPS by 7c

Spectranetics (NASDAQ: SPNC) reported Q2 EPS of ($0.35), $0.07 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.28). Revenue for the quarter came in at $67.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $64.97 million.

“Broad-based execution and strength in our innovation pipeline drove solid second quarter results,” said Scott Drake, President and CEO. “Overall, I am pleased with the growth that our team has delivered in the first half of the year and continue to be encouraged by progress in our clinical and product pipeline.”

GUIDANCE:

Spectranetics sees FY2016 EPS of ($1.06)-($1.18), versus the consensus of ($1.11). Spectranetics sees FY2016 revenue of $258-268 million, versus the consensus of $262.74 million.
