Grubhub (NYSE: GRUB) reported Q2 EPS of $0.23, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.19. Revenue for the quarter came in at $120.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $114.13 million.
Second Quarter Key Business Metrics Highlights
- Active Diners were 7.35 million, a 24% year-over-year increase from 5.93 million Active Diners in the second quarter of 2015.
- Daily Average Grubs were 271,100, a 23% year-over-year increase from 220,100 Daily Average Grubs in the second quarter of 2015.
- Gross Food Sales were $733 million, a 29% year-over-year increase from $568 million in the second quarter of 2015.
GUIDANCE:
Grubhub sees Q3 2016 revenue of $116 - $119 million, versus the consensus of $113.9 million.
Grubhub sees FY2016 revenue of $480 - $488 million, versus the consensus of $473.3 million.
