Brown-Forman (BF-A) Posts Q4 EPS of $2.60

Brown-Forman (NYSE: BF-A) reported Q4 EPS of $2.60, which may not compare with the analyst estimate of $0.72. Revenue for the quarter came in at $933 million versus the consensus estimate of $899.06 million.

Reported operating income grew 212% in the fourth quarter to $726 million, or 10% excluding the impact from the sale of Southern Comfort and Tuaca3 (+15% on an underlying basis).

GUIDANCE:

Brown-Forman sees FY2017 EPS of $3.42-$3.62, versus the consensus of $3.56.
