Children's Place (PLCE) Tops Q1 EPS Views; Boosts FY16 Outlook

Children's Place (NASDAQ: PLCE) reported Q1 EPS of $1.32, $0.28 better than the analyst estimate of $1.04. Revenue for the quarter came in at $419.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $417.91 million.

Comparable retail sales increased 5.1% in the first quarter of 2016.

GUIDANCE:

Children's Place sees Q2 2016 EPS of ($0.30)-($0.22), versus the consensus of ($0.22).

Children's Place sees FY2016 EPS of $4.17-$4.27, versus prior guidance of $4.00-$4.10 and the consensus of $4.09.
