NICE Systems (NICE) Tops Q1 EPS by 7c; CFO Sagiv Resigns

NICE Systems (NASDAQ: NICE) reported Q1 EPS of $0.81, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.74. Revenue for the quarter came in at $226.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $225.55 million.

NICE also announced that Sarit Sagiv, Chief Financial Officer, has decided to leave the Company in the coming months to pursue new opportunities. Ms. Sagiv has served as NICE CFO since early 2015.

Barak Eilam, CEO, stated, “While Sarit has been with NICE for a short period of time, she has made a number of valuable contributions that we will be able to build on and take to the next level in our ongoing transformation to a true enterprise software company. On behalf of myself and the Company, I would like to thank her for her leadership and service to our company.”

The Company is in the process of selecting a new CFO. Ms. Sagiv will support an orderly transition.

GUIDANCE:

NICE Systems sees Q2 2016 EPS of $0.72-$0.78, versus the consensus of $0.75. NICE Systems sees Q2 2016 revenue of $229-239 million, versus the consensus of $231.8 million.

NICE Systems sees FY2016 EPS of $3.41-$3.55, versus the consensus of $3.47. NICE Systems sees FY2016 revenue of $995-1015 million, versus the consensus of $1000 million.
