Blue Nile (NASDAQ: NILE) reported Q1 EPS of $0.09, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.09. Revenue for the quarter came in at $103.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $103.35 million.
“As expected, it was a challenging environment for us in the first quarter,” said Harvey Kanter, Blue Nile Chairman, CEO and President. “However, we are encouraged by what we’ve seen to date in the second quarter and are making good progress on key initiatives, which we expect to fundamentally improve performance long term.”
GUIDANCE:
Blue Nile sees Q2 2016 EPS of $0.20-$0.23, versus the consensus of $0.18. Blue Nile sees Q2 2016 revenue of $114-117 million, versus the consensus of $117.8 million.
Blue Nile sees FY2016 EPS of $0.88-$0.95, versus the consensus of $0.89. Blue Nile sees FY2016 revenue of $465-495 million, versus the consensus of $478.71 million.
