Agrium (AGU) Tops Q1 EPS by 1c, Lowers FY EPS Guidance

Agrium (NYSE: AGU) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.05), $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.06). Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.73 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.75 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Agrium sees FY2016 EPS of $5.25-$6.25, versus prior guidance of $5.50-$7.00 and the consensus of $6.05.
