Welltower (HCN) Tops Q1 FFO by 1c

Welltower (NYSE: HCN) reported Q1 FFO of $1.13, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $1.12. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.05 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.02 billion.

• affirming our 2016 earnings guidance and expect to report normalized FFO in a range of $4.50 to $4.60 per diluted share and normalized FAD in a range of $3.95 to $4.05 per diluted share, both representing a 3%-5% increase.
