Edison Int'l (EIX) Misses Q1 EPS by 5c, Reaffirms Guidance

Edison Int'l (NYSE: EIX) reported Q1 EPS of $0.83, $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.88. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.44 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.81 billion.

The company reaffirmed core earnings guidance of $3.81 to $4.01 per share for 2016 and updated its basic earnings guidance to $3.82 to $4.02 per share for a first quarter non-core item
